Open Door Center is a private, non-profit organization providing residential and day programming services to individuals with disabilities. We serve children and adults with developmental disabilities, adults with mental illness and individuals with a brain injury. The corporation is governed by a Board Of Directors. The purpose of all programs is to assist the individual to develop skills that will allow him/her to function as independently as possible.

Day Programming and Administrative offices are open 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri with residential services offered 24 hours per day 365 days per year in several locations through Valley City.

Vision USA optometrists, who are members of the North Dakota Optometric Association, along with Lions Clubs of North Dakota, the Dakota Medical Foundation and Vision Services Inc., are providing basic eye health and vision care services free of charge to individuals and families, who are income earners and may not qualify for government aid or private health care assistance. Eligible patients will receive complete eye exams and in some cases, eyeglasses if required, without cost, if a volunteer doctor is available in their area.
